What is Healing?

Being cured and being healed are not the same thing. Healing is a much wider concept. To ask for healing is to ask to be made whole, that is to say, reach a state of well being in the body, mind and spirit which can triumph over continuing illness in one aspect of oneself.

Being healed is to be set free from limitations so that you can fulfil your potential as a human being.

We cannot always be cured but we can always be healed.

Once physical or emotional symptoms surface we know that we need to pay attention to something. We only experience life through the body so when the body asks for our attention we need to act on all levels.

We should never be antagonistic towards illness, it is transformational and offers the possibility for personal growth whether it be a simple cold or a life threatening disease.

For all illness there is an underlying cause which was there long before any symptoms arose and it is the need to release these issues which mostly brings people to healing. Also the need for peace and comfort and a feeling of connecting to the essence of self which so often gets forgotten in the day to day hustle and hassle of life.
